I took the heatsink off my fan (fume extractor) and stuck a contact microphone on it, of course. You can play it as a percussion instrument, bang it, drag it along the floor, or blow into it as a sort of bandpass filter or pan flute. Pand pass fluter. It's also possible to press on the piezo for crackly bass thuds and touch the ground on the jack for hums (and of course combinations) of these). Likes distortion.
