A home made fume extractor I made for soldering. My throat doesn't like solder fumes and I want to be able to solder when it's upset.

The extractor is actually fairly effective as long as you keep it directed to where you're soldering. It's made from a small computer fan I found, running off a 5v phone charger I found, and some pipe cleaners for the stand. The heatsink from the fan became a percussion instrument/mechanical filterbank: heatsink.
